Cee’s Flower of the Day – April 8, 2017 – Daffodils

Red Cap Gum (Eucalyptus erythrocorys). Australia is famous for it’s hundreds of Eucalypt tree varieties. This one is famous for it’s bright red cap that protects the flower as it forms and falls to the ground when the flower opens, leaving small, tightly packed bunches of spectacular yellow colour.
