Love’s Creed #2
1 If there is therefore any exhortation in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any tender mercies and compassions,
2 make full my joy, that ye be of the same mind, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind;
3 [doing] nothing through faction or through vainglory, but in lowliness of mind each counting other better than himself;
4 not looking each of you to his own things, but each of you also to the things of others.
5 Have this mind in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 who, existing in the form of God, counted not the being-on-an-equality-with-God a thing to be grasped,
7 but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men;
8 and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, becoming obedient [even] unto death, yea, the death of the cross.
9 Wherefore also God highly exalted him, and gave unto him the name which is above every name;
Phillipians (KJV) 2:1-9

Hi Judy,
(Sniff Sniff – the flower bloodhound (i’m not going with pitbull – sorry!) is on the trail. 😉
I believe that’s a member of the hypericum genus of the hypericaceae Family. Probably H. calycinum. Also known as St John’s Wort (maybe the Creeping Wort variety?) or Aaron’s beard! 🙂

Damn.. I knew it was familiar but couldn’t make the association. I had a whole hillside of it next to my house in California! There is another one I saw a few days ago that was absolutely amazing. It looks like it would be South American, which is pretty much the same zone I think as Australia. If you know this one, you win the prize.. but I might not be able to find it. Thanks for this one, Bob.

Okay, Bob. This is one of the strangest and most beautiful flowers I’ve ever seen. Is it a member of the pincuchion family, do you think? https://onemillionphotographs.com/2019/06/13/6912-to-the-point-in-all-directions/

Actually, not the same site.. have a look at mine. I think it is the actual variety. So beautiful and odd.

Take a closer look at my POST link… all 3 flowers are the same species, just taken at slightly different stages of their bloom The leaves, the stamen and the actual flower sepals are identical. 🙂
I posted the flower on Nov 18!
