Flower of the Day – July 18, 2017 – Winter Rose Mk II

This is the flower that was budding in the recent post of a rose from a bush that is more than 50 years old! I don’t ever recall it flowering this late in the year. Normally it is a Spring flowering plant that will flower two, sometimes three, times a year. This golden beauty came out four weeks after Mid-Winter’s day and is even more beautiful than the first!
