Cee’s Flower of the Day – April 9, 2017 – Tick Bush

There are many varieties of Crassula, with many common names. I believe this one in my garden is a Crassula Ovata sometimes called a jade plant, a money plant or a friendship tree.

It has a lot of bunches of quite small flowers but looks spectacular when the plant is covered in them as mine are frequently. Viewed from a distance they are pretty but if you take a closer look you can see that Nature, while always beautiful, can sometimes give you more than you expect.

All these were taken on the same day, same bush.
