Such a very delicate little flower, the lobelia is more commonly found in vivid blue, but also comes in pale shades of pink and lilac and white.
The tiny flowers are under 1/2 an inch (1 cm) across. 🙂

I used to have lobelia in all my hanging baskets, but they were cobalt or paler blue. I don’t think I’ve ever seen lilac-colored ones.

This one is very pale, but i have a deeper shade also – will see if i can post some later next week! (They may be a new cultivar?? Always used to have the blue ones)
