i want to offer my sincere sympathies for all the pigs out there with Swine Flu’! ( Those that are left and have not been killed by the hundreds of thousands for fear of transmitting a virus to us poor humans, like the chooks and geese were some years back, and the couple of hundred pigs that might have been unfortunate enough to die from the virus and related infections).
Having acquired my own species’ (that’s ‘human’ for those who were in some doubt) form of the ‘flu i’m beginning to look forward to some nice kind person coming along to euthenase me so i don’t infect anyone else with this curse. (Assuming i’ll live that long since more people die from human flu than swine or bird flu combined)
If you don’t hear from me for a time now you know the reason why.
Just don’t blame those poor piggies…
Pity them instead. 😯

I’ve read that pigs are the third most intelligent animal on the planet. Cats and dolphins being the first two. Humans might not be in the top ten.

Actually i heard on my radio just this morning the US now has 3 confirmed deaths due to ‘Swine Flu’ – and Four Thousand known cases… hardly a ‘massive’ risk to life and limb ratio that!

The VAST majority of flu sufferers are ill for up to two weeks then recover completely naturally. Normal flu seems to have a far higher death rate than swine flu has in the known cases so far, so i would actually Hope i had that instead of the influenza A we get in the millions each year
i’d have more chances of surviving it on the current evidence!
US Swine Flu is 99.925% non-fatal to date.
Australia’s known cases so far – one in 21 million
# of Deaths – Nil
