Big Bird – Small Bath!

The Australian Magpie has one of the most beautiful singing voices of all Australian birds – a melodious lilting warble.

Unlike many of us however he chooses not to sing in the bath! He doesn’t mind being photographed while in his though. 😉

    • The ‘maggie’ is ALL over Aus, city as well as country and is a big boy/girl. Usually found in family’s of up to 10 at a time (although this fellow seemed ‘single’ 😉 ) Famous for ‘swooping’ people at breeding time, especially kids and other people on pushbikes.
