FOTD – September 16 – Flame Pea (Chorizema cordata)

I missed posting one of the native flowers (well, two actually, the next will be up in coming days) from my walk around my main park lake from a couple of weeks ago.

It is a brilliantly coloured shrub known as a Flame pea, or sometimes the heart leaf flame pea.
