My freesias are beginning to abound around my garden, even after some pretty Wintery (for Australia) weather. 🙂
This time i’ve selected some lilac purple ones to display their exceptional beauty…
(Click on a pic to open in a new window and click again to see enlarged detail!) 🙂
Despite a heavy rain this paler purple flower was able to shine. 🙂 Can you see the forked-tongued frog on the left?? 😉
The flower on the left seems to have taken a direct hit on the stamen and one of her 3 anthers by a rogue raindrop which has pasted them both to the petals!
Purple perfection in this beauty with another 6 just like her still to come:-)

love.
That last shot is perfection — but I thought the frog was just a drop of water against the green leaf!

🙂 Aaaahhh…
You need to look up and to the right a little – the two bulbous clear eyes!! (He’s pinkish) 😉

Ummm… not the one i mean, i’m afraid…. although i have to admit what you’re seeing is more frog-like than mine!
Mine is in the left hand flower – two ‘eyes’ looking out under the green pointy leaf, and with a big, pink rounded snout, poking out his ‘tongue’ at us. 🙂

Hmmm — I do see your frog — despite the fact that I almost never see such shapes in clouds, etc. This one does look like a frog sticking out his tongue!!
