FOTD – May 7 – ‘Another’ Yellow Rose

Late April brought out another crop of Apricot Yellow Roses from my rose bush – i’ve lost count of the flowerings it has had since last Spring , which seems an eternity ago. This time there were 18-20 large blooms on the few stems of the bush with this one and it’s buds being the last to open fully.

Cee’s Flower of the Day – May 6, 2019 – Iris Buds and Rain

    • This particular bush is at least 50 years old and gives wonderful large blooms several times each season, sadly the perfume is not one of the better fragrances, but i have taken some incredibly beautiful shots of this plant in which it can appear in a variety of shades from red buds, orange just opening flowers, Apricot gold, yellow, yellow red tinged, pink and palest yellow/white full blooms 5 inches across. But this is the most frequent look of all these. 🙂
