This is a close-up view of this flower that is a member of the Nightshade family and was formerly thought to be a species of Solanum (i bought it as a Solanum – S. rantonnetii (blue potato bush) ). It is related to the potato, the tomato and the eggplant!

It has since been reclassified however and is now found under the genus Lycianthes,  (Lycianthes rantonnetii) which, like Solanum belong to the Solanaceae Family.
