Caught this beautiful flowering vine adorning my next door neighbour’s Pergola and had to snap it. 🙂
Seems the Morning Glory is a very versatile plant. There are over a 1000 species of the convolvulacea family and some of it’s uses include, but are not limited to: food-colouring agent, aphrodisiac, psychotropic drugs or hallucinogens (used by the Aztecs to enhance visions and communicate with the Gods), laxatives, lucky charms (tubers) and as a vegetable – the root of some is more commonly known as Sweet Potato!
