Hibiscus, whether they are of the ‘single’ (5 petal) variety or the flouncier, showier ‘doubles’ like this red one, make the most magnificent subjects to photograph – I can almost never take a bad photograph of one and i’m very fortunate to have 3 trees (used to have 6 but we won’t go there! 😦 ) in my garden that stay in bloom for about 6 months or more every year.
Red Hibiscus ‘1’ i posted back in November of the same tree. 🙂

I started to make a comment but then I clicked on your photo, made it bigger, and then made it even bigger until it filled the entire 27 inch screen. The resolution of your photos makes them so amazing. These hibiscus are so exotic!!! Then I lost my comment, so I am here again.

I’m really pleased you can see them in all their glory! I suspect quite a few bloggers only see the ‘thumbnail’ version in their reader or maybe on a blog page while on a mobile phone/laptop.

I still have not learned how to change the code so that you can see my photos enlarged as well; and you were so patient helping me. Maybe in the new year, I will tackle it again. It seems there should be a simple add on that I could use. You worded it well; “glory” is the right word to describe those red hibiscus of yours.

I found a simpler way! 🙂
Write your blog and add the images as normal and save it.
Then c;lick’My Sites’ in the upper left of screen scroll down to last item – wp admin and select. Choose ‘posts-all posts’ then click on ‘drafts’ and select your draft post.
When you click on a photo you can edit it and somewhere is the option of full-size! 🙂

Thank you so much!! I just tried it with my latest post, which is a sign I found that I liked, so it really does not need to be enlarged, but the method seems to work. So, I will try this technique with flowers and other items that have detail. Please let me know if you click on it and the sign gets enlarged.
