Ok – so technically it’s not a flower…
… but i thought it was unusual enough to make it post worthy – and you get two plants for the price of one – everyone loves a two for one deal – right? 😉
I found this (hemp?) palm growing out of a cut-off branch of a Tuart Tree (a Eucalypt native to the lower half of my state). I can only assume a bird was eating a palm fruit while in the tree and dropped the seed into the fork of the branches?

Being able to click on your photo and see the detail makes this super interesting. I still have not figured out how to do that with my own blog. I gave up for awhile and I may try again today. Inspired by your post. I love it when I find unexpected plants like the one in your photo!
