How did i forget these beauties in yesterday’s White Out post??? (And i also forgot to mention my beautiful white freesia and cyclamen? – I need another gallery post!)
I’ve been spoiled with so many beautiful blooms lately i nearly (did!) forgot i’d taken these pics when they flowered last month.
They send out the most beautiful perfume in the evening! 😉

It’s a pleasure to walk under them and take in the wonderful fragrance on a warm spring evening!
They give such a gorgeous display in the daytime too. 🙂
Thanks Cee.

That is one of the nicest comments i have received! 🙂
There is a purity and simplicity in them that’s for sure.
Thank you very kindly RG.

I have always stayed away from using them because I thought when they end their cycle and go brown it would look terrible, and I don’t want to dead head all the time. But now I see it would be worth it. They are just too pretty!

They sure are… but they can be a bit of a pain to clean up after – the flowers are not so bad but they have a LOT of long wiry wooden stems that often have a very hard long seed pod attached. The seed pods actually explode with considerable force in the heat of summer – I need a flak helmet sometimes when i’m under the pergola the wisteria nearly covers now to protect my head from the seeds ( about the size of 3 5c pieces). 😉
