My local council have done another wonderful job of making a dull roadside verge into a brilliant display of wildflowers – with a little help from some beautiful Spring weather.
I took these pics within metres of a suburban highway on my walk around a small park and lake. The bee has stuffed himself with golden yellow pollen you can see stuck to his legs. 🙂

Beautiful photos, Love. I have never seen this type of daisy – the ones here have many fewer petals. Thanks for sharing – and good for your local council !

Thank you Madelyn, the daisies are native to my home state of WA although i think America might have something similar but called a Paper Daisy? ( you could get seeds here: https://www.swallowtailgardenseeds.com/annuals/paper_daisy.html ?)
In the wild they have large ‘carpets’ of flowers standing some 2-3 feet tall and they are a world-wide attraction for tourists to Western Australia. 🙂 They certainly brighten my day. You can see more on my blog about 2 weeks back! (10th/11th Sept.)
love.

I’ll come back for your picts. but will have to pass on your seeds link. I rent, and have no place to plant them — not that I’m much of a gardener anyway. But I AM a great appreciator of the gardens planted by others (and photos shared by kind souls like YOU).
