Flower of the Day – May 18, 2017 – Wild Gladiolus

These beauties are Spring flowers here which means they normally flower in September through November. A new crop has been growing since April and look like they might flower in June this year. I blame the weird weather.

Still, if it means i get to see more of this i’m not complaining. 🙂

I love the way the white petals have the look of snow crystals glistening in the sun on the enlarged shot.
